Player account and wallet

In production

Every cent, accounted for.

Registration, the player file and a wallet per currency with real, bonus, locked and withdraw-only balances. Every movement is a ledger row, every balance is reconciled against it, and large credits need two people.

What it does

  • Registration with the checks built in

Date of birth and minimum age checked on the server, terms and gambling-risk consent recorded with the exact version shown, and the self-exclusion register read before the account opens.

  • A wallet per currency

One wallet per player and currency, each with real, bonus, locked and withdraw-only balances. Each operator chooses its currencies, and figures are never converted.

  • One ledger for every vertical

Casino, sportsbook and in-house games post to the same ledger, so finance reads one history per player and the verticals add up to the cent.

  • Manual adjustments with limits

Every correction needs a written reason. A platform ceiling refuses large credits, and above a threshold over 24 hours a different person must approve; an API key never approves.

  • Account closure that settles

Closing an account opens a settlement file of what the player is owed and what they owe. Closures for sensitive reasons need a second person, and nothing is withheld without a recorded legal basis.

  • The player file

Balances, transactions, game sessions, limits, KYC, bonuses and history of one player on one screen, with every reveal of personal data logged.

Details

Idempotent by construction

A unique index on player, external id and type means a callback or a retry can never post the same movement twice. Every balance change is a conditional update under the player's lock, in the same transaction as its ledger row, and database constraints keep every balance from going negative.

Reconciled every six hours

A scheduled job compares every wallet of every operator with its ledger, real and bonus. Each run is recorded, and a mismatch stays open until a later run no longer sees it.

The ledger is single-entry: one row per movement with the balance after it. It is not double-entry accounting, and we say so.

Two people where money is created

Adjustment ceilings and the second-approval threshold come from the platform, so an operator cannot raise its own. Splitting a large credit into small ones does not avoid the second approval: the 24-hour sum is read under the same lock.

Privacy, and what is not there yet

Players can export their data. Erasure anonymises the account and keeps what the law requires: the self-exclusion register, KYC evidence under legal hold and the financial record. Some audit entries written before 13 October 2026 still hold the player's email.

  • Email verification and password reset need the operator's email provider, and Google sign-in its own keys: both are built and switched off today.
  • Not available yet: two-factor sign-in for players and closing an account from the player site.
